Do you think you will update the register form to include additional fields and require approval before membership is permitted? Much like Ultimate Member? Perhaps even as an Addon? Would like to have an all in-house application.

You can add new fields with wpForo User Custom Fields addon. We will add registered user approval function after the new version release.
