everytime i upload an image it always rotates it sideways

Hi @funeral,
This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict other plugins. Please deactivate plugins one by one and check after each deactivation.

I have deactivated all plugins, and the avatar image is still rotated if the photo was taken portrait on a phone.
If I upload the same photo that shows as rotated within wpForo in the main Wordpress media page it uploads and looks fine - it is only within wpForo that there is the problem and all EXIF data is removed.
