Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄
I wish to make one of my of my forums accessible to just a few of my members. I have set up a UserGroup for this and ticked “Can be also used as Secondary Usergroup”
I have added some users to this Group (via Edit User / Forum - Secondary Usergroups and ticking the relevant box) But if login as one of these users I do not see this forum. I see the others forums OK (These are primary & linked to WordPress Roles)
All these users are members of another User Group who are not allowed to see this forum. How do I allow them to see this new select forum?
Hi @harveysamui,
Please read this article:
https://gvectors.com/using-secondary-usergroups-in-wpforo-wordpress-forum-plugin/
There is discussed how to use Secondary Usergroups in wpForo.
Thanks Sofy - We want it to work a bit different ....
We have UG1 and UG2
UG1 has plently of forums and users. Works Fine
We have users who are in both UG1 and UG2 and we need them to have access to a certain extra UG2 forum. Permissions are set on this forum to be no access for UG1 and standard access for UG2. But they don't see the forum.
What do we need to do?
