Hi I’m also have opinion, about sitemap needs. But I don’t wanted now discussing why sitemap needs. I hope soon functions sitemap will be available for wpforo.

Now I would like share two alternatives sitemaps which available for WPFORO. Not super great... But not bad... anyway, now we don’t have choice. 

1. Free online sitemap generator xml-sitemaps.com Before you need robots.txt close “Disallow” pages which you want close from indexed. After create online sitemap. You can check html version, if all ok, you downloaded xml file after past him in root folder your site. Also you will have sitemap... I’m long time use this is generator, very good tool. Him also have some pro version, but I was use all time free version. 

2 WP plugin  https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/simple-wp-sitemap/very simple plugin sitemap. Here you can copy past 

Very easy. Ofcourse this not best solution, because you will need add anyone page. But for some time will be good. I hope soon wpforo will have personal sitemap or will be give chances use plugins sitemap. 

3. You can add code 400 for pages which you don’t want indexed. You can read more about http code 400 for example on this link. This is not error, google robots don’t crawls this is pages, which have code 400. I’m know some one popular forum bulletin, which use this is method). Him not have robots.txt, also not have sitemap. Him use this is code for still page for indexed which him wants. Him have other reasons for it))) Him also not add “nofollow” on external links, also don’t add “noindex”)). People think they have dofollow links because not see nofollow and noindex but really search engines robots do not indexed this is links). 

I was share methods which I knowing for this is moment. Maybe this is will help somebody. But I hope soon developers will add normal functions sitemap for wpforo.
