Whenever a new user registers and logs in for the first time, I want to show him/her notification of the welcome topic which I have created or redirect him/her to a particular topic page. The first one would be more preferred.
How can I achieve this functionality?

Forum > Tools > Admin Note
maybe with a text like this
Welcome to the69forum, if this is your first visit please read this topic > "url to your welcome topic".
@tutrix yes I know this functionality, but then it will show whenever a user logins, not only for the first time. I want it to be shown only for the first login.
