In the forums activity, it doesnt need to say everytime you change your profile picture.. how do you edit what shows or doesnt show there? in other words, how can you manage what activity shows and what doesnt..?
I noticed this because when I was selecting a profile photo, I changed it several times and each time got a new activity notification on my profile about this.. I think its annoying to notify everyone about every minor profile change.. I only want to show activity for important things like, when someone replies to a post, makes a new post, or things like that..
Hi LifeGrinder. I don't see that on my Forum installation anymore. I have disabled the following 2 settings:
1) "Display Topic Editing Information"
The post edit logging information "This post was modified 2 hours ago by John" is displayed under modified post content..
DISABLE
2) "Display Post Editing Information"
The post edit logging information "This post was modified 2 hours ago by John" is displayed under modified post content..
DISABLE
You can find these settings at:
"Forum Dashboard"
"Forum Settings"
"Topics & Posts" tab
Scroll down, and you will find the Settings for
"Display Topic Editing Information"
and
"Display Post Editing Information"
When you have done that, refresh your page several times (Press Control then F5), and see if changing those settings fixes the issue.

You can try this ...
On the Forum Dashboard
Go to "Features" tab
Scroll to the middle part of the page, there are settings for "Buddypress", like:
BuddyPress Activity Integration -
Posts members activity (new topic, new reply, post like) to BuddyPress Profile Activity page.
- I set this to NO
BuddyPress Notification Integration
Creates notification on new forum reply in BuddyPress Profile Notification page.
- I set this to NO
BuddyPress Profile Forum Tab Integration
Adds "Forums" tab with "Created Topics", "Posted Replies", "Liked Posts" and "Subscriptions" sub-tabs to BuddyPress Profile page.
- I set this to NO
Replace Forum Profile with BuddyPress Profile
Replaces wpForo Member Profile page with BuddyPress Profile Page.
- I set this to NO
Then press "Update Options" at the bottom of the page.
And then see how your Forum Profile looks like after you've done this. (Press Control + F5 to refresh)
