Hi, I have replaced some smilies with countryflags in the smilies folder.

I do not see them in my forum. What can I do to get this done?

Hi JanNL,

I'm sorry, but wpForo editor doesn't have any option to replace smiles and wpForo doesn't have smilies folder.

Oops, Then I did this in a folder of a PHPBB forum.

I just installed wpForo and I'm happy with it. I will drop the PHPBB forum  😊
I used PHPBB for many years but all settings like permissions are a lot easier in wpForo. Thanks!

Is it possible to use pictures from WP Media in the topics?

I use copy - paste now to place some pictures in my postings, that's an easy way  😉

Yes, the only way is copy/paste. I'd recommend coy the image URL from Media Library.

Then Paste in editor, then do Ctrl+Z to turn image to a URL, then save post. When you do Ctrl+Z and turn image to URL it'll be displayed Image with link to see the full size. But when you save it as image it'll not be changed to image+link.
