Hi! A lot of my users have expressed wanting to use tables. I've discovered that:

- WPforo only likes hex colors, not rgb()

- WPforo will not show borders

However, background colors for cells should be basic... When I insert my source code, it looks fine in the preview but then breaks once it's posted.

- WPForo and WP are both up-to-date

- I've cleared my cache on the backend and my own cache

- I've enabled extra HTML tags: b, em, p, code, style, a(href title), img(src alt title), embed(src width height), table, tr, td, th, thead, tbody, tfoot, strong, u, small, sub, sup, ul, ol, li, div, span, blockquote, rgb(red, green, blue)

I can only attach one file, so I'll show the broken/posted version in this one. Happy to provide my source code.

Here is what I would LIKE for it to look like, and what shows up in the editor.

Hi @artdenorg

Do you use the "{;}" source code button to insert the table?

@tutrix I do!

Sidenote: I installed Advanced Editor Tools, but it doesn't seem to work/override what WPforo has (Tiny MCE) ☹️

Unfortunately, the Advanced Editor Tools plugin don't work with wpforo.
I think you wrote the table in a program whose formatting is not correct in html.
Please post your table code

@tutrix (Posting in a new comment so it doesn't get buried)

Here is the source code on JSfiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/poowulpi/fs2483bg/

Now posting it the code below using the source editor - in the preview, I see the black background behind GALAXIES but nothing else :/

Now I feel like I'm gaslighting myself 🤣  Ugh. This looks like it might be a theme issue? I'm using Astra.

@artdenorg

This is only due to the formatting of the table. It should have nothing to do with the Astra theme.

@tutrix I'm waiting for my post to be moderated, but you're right - I copied my site as-is to a staging site and changed the theme and nothing happened :/

Code is here: jsfiddle . net/poowulpi/fs2483bg/1/
