@dimalifragis and @tutrix, what i meant is how to completely stop the edition history from displaying on the forum in future.

What i can see is how to delete a particular or set of edit history.

just disable it

Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Topic & Posts

Go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Topics & Posts Tab, disable these options:

Display Topic Editing Information
Display Post Editing Information
