I am migrating my site to another server so need to prevent people posting or registering during the process. Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi @babrees,
Please follow the steps below.
1. Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page, disable the User Registration, then disable the “Anyone can register” Wordpress option.

2. Edit each forum and set "No access" for all other usergroups in "Forum Permission" section, so the users won't be able to add topics/posts.
