Hi Jasonbmac

Please note, wpForo is a forum plugin, it's not Profile Builder or Social Community Manager. It doesn't have such feature. There is no way to delete own account. You should search for some other plugin for this purpose.

Fair comment. It would seem to make sense though that a plugin which supports registration should also support de-registration. Either to leave posts but close account, or to close account and remove all associated posts. Not sure how the forum would handle/display the deletion of posts on such a scale but it could be made to work.

Does wpForo support registration/login of its own ?

I think not. Uses WP functions.

Regardless if this feature will be implemented, posts and comment should stay in the forum for 2 reasons.

The posts and comments belongs to the forum and it's members, sorta' public domain.

The other members invested time and created discussions that may be more valued to the community then the question/post itself.

Most forums display the user name like this user name as an indication that he/she is no longer a member.

However, that could be an option for the admin.

Perhaps it uses WP but it certainly offers an interface that is different from the WP one. Likewise, if WP offers a delete account function then wpforo should hook into that.
