i was on beta 6 i think.. i updated to latest version of wpforo and all i see is a blank forum page, shortcode is changed? or any other settings i am missing ?

Yes, you need to edit the forum page and change [wpforo-index] to [wpforo] shortcode. Then save it, delete cache.

i cleared cache.. and already changed it. it isnt working. sidebar is visible..title visible, just no forums.. ?

Beta-6 to 1.2.0 is risky update. You should update Beta-6 to 1.0.0. Then 1.0.0 to 1.1.2 then 1.1.2 to 1.20.
