Hey All:

I've had a forum online for a long, long time.  27 years (UBB, then vBulletin, now WPForo) in all and my url is out there - and normally that might be a good thing but I think bots and bad actors are contributing to a bunch of junk traffic to my site.

So, I installed the software and initially put the boards in the same place at /discussion.  After discovering some of the traffic issues, I changed the slug to /boards on my wordpress page and it works - however, if I put in /discussion, WPForo still comes up at the old url.

Is there a setting or place I am missing to change things?

Feeling like there is a simple answer here and I'm just missing it.  Looked all thru WPForo settings and didn't see anything.

Thanks!

Thank you - not sure why I couldn't find that!!

One note - the instructions need to be updated...  the last one:

"Go to WordPress Settings > Permalinks admin page and just click the [Update Options] button to update permalink cache."

There is no update options on that page.  I just did SAVE CHANGES.

Thanks so much for your help!
