I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong here in terms of user permissions. I want to allow my users to edit and delete their own replies. I have set these permissions; however in the example, user 'Michael' cannot edit their own reply. (screenshot 1)

What I noticed is that I can set the checkmark for 'Can edit replies', but then the user can also edit others' replies, which is not what should be allowed screenshot 2, added below)

What am I missing?

Hi @intellicoach,

in permissions set that the user can edit only own...

Then go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Topics & Posts Tab and check the below options:

  • Allow Edit Own Topic for
  • Allow Delete Own Topic for
  • Allow Edit Own Post for
  • Allow Delete Own post for
