Thanks - I am logging in from another browser as a user rather than admin.  Screenshot attached.  that person is me!

And in the forum permissions I have standard access.

What is wrong here ?

this looks wrong as it says 86 members but that is not the case - there are 86 users perhaps but as you can see from the usergroups, I have not included subscribers.

The Usergroup <> Forum access should be set for all forums one by one, if you only set it for child or for parent it'd be not enough.

Also please delete all and user cache in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page. And make sure you don't have other cache plugins active for this page.

Thanks - I have set each forum and category manually with the correct permissions.

 

I have now cleared the cache and now I see everything - BUT it still sows as 86 members!

Please check the members number in Dashboard > Forums > Members and in Dashboard > Users admin page. if those are equal, navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on [Reset Forum Statistic] button.
