Hi there,

Sorry if my english is not good.

I want to use wpforo . But at first I have some questions.

For examle my category has 22 parts. each parts contain some  main titles.  And each main titiles conrains some child title.

Some titles is public to view and some titles is private to view.

Users shuld ask to have read or write access and manager of that title confirm or not.

Users rules in each title (forum or topics or post or whatever you called for title) can be  different.

So witch part of my ideas can be supported by the wpforo?

Thank you so much . 🌹

Hi @mohammadmhosseini,

The new usergroup can be created by clicking on Add New button, located in Dashboard > Forums > Usergroup admin page.

Then you should use User Role - Forum Usergroup synchronization tool.

Hi. I looked at that page but it confuses me. It seems like if I make subscriber/registered into read only mode, as it shows in the link, that changes the settings across all the forum topics.  I just want the inability to add a Topic to two forums. The rest of the forums are allowed to add topics. How do I do this?  Maybe I'm not understanding it correctly. Thx

UPDATE: just saw above post but that isn't showing how the newly created "student" can post comments but not topics. I'm still not getting the answer. 🙁

NEXT UPDATE:  Ok I added a new forum access which I called limited and both are connected to participant.  Does this work?  see screenshot attached.  [YAY! I think it worked!]

Note: you should add this to documentation. 🙂
