Why show the "Add Topic" button to users who have "Read Only" permissions?

@aima-forum,

It increases the engagement of your forum. The [Add Topic] button is linked to login page, it doesn't allow to add a new topic. Users click and go to the login page, so they are forced to login or register. Otherwise they may not even think about registering in your forum.

@martin OK. And when the user is already logged in? And it's in the "Read Only" section. Why does he need this button? "For him to see a notification that he does not have permission to post"?

There is no such button for Read Only Forums, for logged in users. At least not for my site/wpforo.
