Hello, I registered as a user on my forum to check out some things and when I click on an attachment so I can view it but I get this message: You are not permitted to view this attachment
Is this because of the "User is new during first X posts" setting or "
I understand that a new user should be treated with caution and therefore should not be allowed to attach files but I think they should be allowed to view an attachment. This is important because many people on our forums will come for viewing/downloading attachments rather than posting so it is unfair to ask them to post 3-4 times and then they can view attachments. Yes, they should not be allowed to ATTACH files when they are "new" but I think all people, registered or unregistered, new or old, should be allowed to open and view attachments. When I logout (therefore use the forum as a guest) and try to view the attachment, it works but not if I login as a new user.
