Hi @acs,

If your SMF tables are located in the Current WordPress Database, no necessary to fill those fields. Just click on the "Use current database connection credentials" link. It'll be automatically filled and check again.

In case you want to say thank you !)
We'd really appreciate and be thankful if you leave a good review on plugin page. This is the best way to say thank you to this project and support team.

@alvina

This is other problem. When I click on the "Use current database connection credentials" link, fields don't fill. Nothing happen. So I can't initially   migrate

@acs,

Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and leave the screenshot of that page.

2. Record a video with the issue and leave it here. Also please make sure the console tab is open when you record a video.

Hi @acs,

The issue does not have any relation to the wpForo for sure. The migration tool works fine for lots of users.

It seems there is a  theme or plugin conflict. I will suggest you deactivate all plugins keep activated only the wpForo and  Go2wpForo tool and check again. Or you can find a developer to do it for you.

Also please note Forum to Forum migration is a large project. If issues arisen during your forum migration, I will suggest you contact to professional forum migration services for custom migration.  We only recommend gConverter or ProfProjects services for such projects. They have already done hundreds of forum to wpForo migration projects with the best result.

Hi @alvina

The issue have relation to the wpForo and Go2wpForo, and other thing. The migration tool works fine for a lot of user but not for all.

The problem was in Database server version (mysql 5.5.65) and Go2wpForo doesn't inform that there is a problem with version of database.

I have updated version, then deactivate Go2wpForo and I tried it. It failed.

After I had to deactivate wpForo and Go2wpFore, reactivate both and it worked fine.

Further there is a mistake at message that appears on steps of  Go2wpForo, repeat attachments a twice but forgets avatars. This error is less important that before.

@acs,

It's great that you found a solution. And yes, wpForo and all its tools are only compatible with MySQL 5.6 and higher versions. Please see the wpForo Server Requirements info in the documentation: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/wpforo-installation/server-requirements/
