How to Install the Beta
Please read the installation instructions carefully on the download page: https://v3.wpforo.com/downloads/
In short:
- Upload the downloaded ZIP file via Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin
- Click [Replace current with uploaded] to replace your existing wpForo 2.x
- wpForo 3.0 will activate and run its migration process automatically
- Visit your forum and the wpForo Dashboard to verify everything is working
Important: In any case we do not recommend install this beta on a production website. Use a staging copy. Create a full backup of your website and database before installing.

@robert Congratulations! That's a fantastic update. When do you plan to officially roll it out to all users? And could we get some information about pricing? We'd like to prepare in advance.
We also did very detailed CSS work for our Wpforo site. We uploaded this to the custom CSS area in the Wpforo settings. Will this update affect the design?

The update process will preserve all colors and css code that have been customized and added in wpForo > Settings > Colors & Styles admin page. In any case I'd recommend you to copy the custom CSS and save it before updating wpForo.
There is no ETA for the stable version release yet, it depends on the beta testing results. Many early adopters are currently testing the wpForo 3.0 beta version, and we hope everything will go smoothly.
