Please update to the latest wpForo version it includes critical security fixes.
Like any other WordPress plugins wpForo is also being scanned and reviewed by WordPress plugin moderators and Security Services. Recently we received an email from WordPress about data filtering issue in wpForo core. The URL builder functions in wpForo was not passed through WordPress URL escaping/filtering functions. We've fixed this issue within a few hours and released 1.4.11 version.
After 1.4.11 version we've added another security improvement in different places of wpForo core. These improvements have been added in following 1.4.12 and 1.4.13 version.
