Hello community.

Although wpForo is a wonderful plugin for creating forums, it is imperative that the next version of wpForo include an HTML text editor for the signature text area.

It has been commented on since August 2016 ( https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/signature/#post-836 ), October 2017 ( https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/signature/#post-11676 ) and April 2020 ( https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/wp-editor-for-signature/#post-40374 ) that an HTML text editor will be integrated into the next versions of wpForo, but nothing has been done about it yet.

For my part, I developed an HTML editor for the signatures, you can see it here: https://wpforo.com/community/wpforo-integration/tutorial-editor-for-signature/, but it is better than the wpForo development team believes a native editor for the signature text area.

Could you please integrate an HTML editor for the signature text area for the next version of wpForo?

Hi @hector,

Thank you for sharing this code.

This is a nice and simple solution. I think we'll add this in the core once it's passed all tests.

I would like you to do it as soon as possible please.

It would also be good to add a counter that limits the number of characters to be placed in this textarea for the signature.

This configuration is to place an HTML text editor in the signature area. Why are you talking about featured images here?
