You should know one important thing. wpForo has already built in cache system with Memory, Members, Object and HTML cache. This is the reason why all recommend exclude the base forum page. There is no mean to do a double cache on forum, it brings lots of conflicts, so you should disable other cache plugins for forum page.
There is no any cache plugin which can do a better cache for wpForo than the built-in wpForo cache system, because wpForo is not based on custom post types (all cache plugins are designed for WP custom post types). Instead of overloading wp_posts table and WordPress posts system wpForo comes with its own database tables and content processing functions for best performance reason.

On the part of the WProcket I have deactivated all the pages of wpforo.
My interest in this part focuses mainly on the minification of css and js.
