In addition to wpforo, I have been using the plugin Shield Security for some time now.

I am regularly informed by Shield Security that the login procedure of my website is vulnerable. Their analysis says: The use of 'Captchas are horrible'. I'm hesitant to activate Shield Security's anti bot detection engine, because I don't know what the effect is on the current login procedure with captcha on wpforo. I know that the login is basically the standard wordpress function, but the captcha usage is linked to wpforo. I don't know if I'm undermining the proper functioning of wpforo.

Who has experience with this shield security function and wpforo and can advise me on this.

Thanks for your help, Roelof

Hi @roelof,

Your default login page is not protected by reCAPTCHA, please do either enable wpForo reCAPTCHA for WP login form as well or use different security (not a recaptcha plugin) plugin for both wpForo and the default login page. wpForo should support all WordPress security solutions.
