I have just upgraded to version 1.94. The documentation indicates thate there are new options to 'can enter forum' and 'can enter topics'. I can't seem to find where they are set.
I expected that they would be new options in the usergroups, but did not see them there.
I also looked at the Forum permissions in Forums->Forums (edit) Forum Permissions.
Your directions or explaination will be appreciated.

Try to delete all kind of caches (website, forum, browser, purge CDN if you have) and check again.
Those two CANs are located in the Forum Accesses section, just edit each Forum Accesses to see those.

What I am having some trouble understanding is the hierarchy of permissions.
Is it correct to say that that for a given member and role.
1) WpFORO looks to see if there is 'Forum access' defined for the Forum by Role. If so, this level of access is used.
ELSE
2) Then the forum access defined by the wpforo 'Usergroup' associated with the role is used.
ELSE
3) The forum access defined by the default wpforo 'Usergroup' is used.
If you could confirm my understanding, I would greatly appreciate it.
