We are super impressed with wpforo and intend to purchase premium version for no other reason but to support this wonderful team. We were able to achieve 90% of what we wanted with standard wpforo (without any add-ons).
We are using Q&A format for our community website here - https://os.me/community/questions-recent/. We customized the theme to meet some of our unique requirements but so far working with wpforo has been a breeze. Very impressed with the capabilities packed inside.
We have a community of over 15K members so we will see how it scales but so far, this software has been super impressive both functionally and dev friendliness. The support is awesome too.
