Hi,
Change the backgrounds in forums into something smaller (width 900 x lenght something). For example now the blue background is .... 1.5 mb in size and the second is 1.2 mb !!!
Those shouldn't be bigger than 100-150 kb each.

This is not related to a plugin, Wordpress or wpForo.
Before uploading the image, load it to an Image Editor, Resize it, and SAVE it in JPG with a compression like 80%.
