I see no errors in what you posted. I only see notices that are probably harmless.

If is is unclear to you, just make a full backup of your WP installation and then go ahead. If you do something wrong, then you will be able to restor...

Since this is a rather large forum, i would guess it is a Hosting problem. HostGator (EIG crap group) is not the best option out there (to be polite)....

This has nothing to do with wpForo. All registrations and emails are handled by Wordpress. No one Registers to the Forums, they register to Wordpress ...

I haven't found yet any better/free and responsive theme, that works with anything.

@joel If you are not using ANY plugin for email, you could give this a shot. And let us know if this solved or improves your problem.

This seems like your smtp mailer is causing the delay.

Google doesn't penalize anyone with good and unique content. Even when you break rules, it depends on your whole site how google "sees" that problem. ...

This is TOTALLY different, they don't use permalinks (pretty urls). Pretty links are a so much better in any case, i still believe there is no reason ...
