Has anyone successfully enrolled their wpForo website into the Amazon Associates affiliate program ?

I have applied several times and keep getting rejected with: 

The website you listed is an online forum and we were unable to verify the ownership which is in violation of our Program Policies.

When I question this, I just get told the stock answer to submit a new application (which is again rejected for the exact same reason).

I am unable to get an answer as to how I can verify the ownership with them.

I have googled and searched the Amazon help, but not found anything at all about this. (I expected there might be an official Amazon plugin, or some verification code to add to my site, but I've come up completely bank.)

Has anyone else encountered and/or overcome this issue ?
