Style [Solved] Display issues upgrading from 2.4.10 to 2.4.11

The latest patch update of wpForo seems to have provoked some display issues in my forum, mainly related to displaying tags. See attached image.

The display of the forum categories also seems to have changed and now doesn't look that nice (cannot attach image as only 1 attachment allowed)..

Do you know what causes these display issues and if anything can be done? They looked just fine in 2.4.10 (as far as I remember!).

Thanks,

John

Please review this FAQ and configure your cache plugin correctly: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/#post-37150

I am using LiteSpeed Cache and it is already configured as specified in that FAQ entry.

We still see the <!-- Page cached by LiteSpeed Cache 7.6.2 on 2025-11-21 20:48:17 --> message. Please see the screenshot below.

Make sure you've excluded the correct URLs.

/support/ was not initially added to the excluded URLs, but I added this after receiving your first message. I didn't purge though - I have done this now and see:

<!-- Page uncached by LiteSpeed Cache 7.6.2 on 2025-11-26 13:06:20 -->

The display issue remains.

Use this CSS code to fix the issue:

.wpforo-feed br, .wpforo-cat-panel br, .wpf-tags-text br {
    display: none;
}

#wpforo #wpforo-wrap p:empty {
    display: none;
}

Insert the CSS Code in the "Custom CSS Code" textarea in the wpForo > Settings > Colors & Styles admin page.

Please don't forget to delete all caches and press Ctrl+F5 (twice) on the frontend before checking to reload the updated CSS file.

That fixed it - thanks!

However, now no tags are displayed in the category list of posts, but I can live with this.

But there is now an issue with the display of the tags when looking at individual posts. See image attached (or see https://fsuipc.com/community/fsuipc7-support/struggling-with-wasm-module/#post-191).

Another display issue is below in the 'Leave a reply' section to posts. There is a large empty black box below the 'Leave a reply' label, before the reply entry box, which is a lot smaller. Not that important, but it doesn't look that nice and is a waste of screen space. Can this be adjusted?

Add this one as well:

#wpforo-wrap br, .wpf-author br, .wpforo-topic-meta br, .wpf-tag-list br {
    display: none;
}

#wpforo-wrap p:empty{
     display: none;
}
