Choose Forums -> Phrases -> Search for the text you want to change
Click Search, then edit. Make the changes then save. You *may* need to clear the cache

Please read wpForo documentation before using this plugin. This is not a small plugin, this is a separate CMS in WordPress CMS. You should know well what you're installing. Almost all are explained in wpForo documentation. For example, wpForo has ult-in phrase system which allows you do a quick changes and translation in Forums > Phrases admin page and this is well explained in doc:

The documentation page is not only for "menu changing". It's the root page for all types of translation and changes of phrases. I've already mentioned the Phrase system so you can use that even without reading the documentation. Have you tried the wpForo Phrases?
