I saw this in the top menu:

https://wpforo.com/pro-support/

I think they are moving to a more paid setting for support so they may focussing more energy on that and encouraging us to pay for the help we need.

I don't blame them, hard times right now for many people. Looks decent TBF, and I think I would pay the $60 at some point to get them to look over everything and make sure its all working as best it can.

What do you all think? Good or bad? Will you use this service?

Does look fair to me too considering how folk come here with zero knowledge of being admins/webmasters, as evidenced by their questions

However, it will be a cold day in ... if I am paying a support fee to get answers to a bug fix.

@verek I am one of those lol. I have learned alot from the guys here. But mostly the community.... Like you, Tutrix, Dimalafragis. I hope there is some way for those guys to be rewarded in some way for the help and time they put in.

I hope it doesn't end up like that!! Hard to tell what is going to happen with Wpforo at this rate. Maybe only paid customers will get help from admins now? Shame, I have been using wpforo for nearly five years now. Paid my licences for at least 9 addons every year.

Itll be interesting to see what happens from here....

And nobody cared or noticed to fix that.

@dimalifragis

Happens quite a bit to me too, mostly because my language can be a bit too spicy for these parts 😆 .

Also pretty surprising how puritanical Cleantalk is (or whatever they use here). Example, you can say heaven but you cant say the other place. 🤣

I truly hope this is not the reason why they are not replying anymore.

Plus it is an unlikely strategy.

After all, it wouldn't take long for someone else to provide support by undercutting their prices.

Correct. But this happens in General with Wordpress, theme and plugins. New people have NO IDEA what they are doing and expect to run a Wordpress site.

They don't know basic things and expect to also run a Forum. Still, this could be addressed with CORRECT forums Pinned Topics with all the details. And some LESS courtecy to ignorant and cocky new users. I mean if they do not READ, tell them to READ READ READ.

I think the idea is that a paid support/installation option would dramatically cut down on forum questions about basic functionality.

The forums are neglected and the paid support is not the reason, IMHO.

If it was, why spam topics remain for days???

I hope this is not the start of the end, because the signs are there.

It does look a bit concerning. The GVectors forum is also not exactly a hive of activity and neither is Wordpress support page. We have seen this once or twice before, hopefully the reason is because they are hard at work on a new release...

@robert can you please address the questions in this topic. Obviously you have a concerned community here?
