Perhaps it's me going nuts here, but my recent posts as shown here https://dev.phenomlab.com/alliance/recent/ do not seem to show any icons as seems evident on this site plus any forum that you enter to review posts.
Looking at the source code, it also seems different in the fact that the icons are not actually defined (there are html lines missing in comparison to this site for example). As far as I am aware, there is no customisation here (I could be wrong but have double checked), and it doesn't seem to be a caching issue either.
Very odd . Any thoughts @robert (or anyone else 😁) ?

There should not be any icon on this page if you use the "posts" type of Recent Post page. You should turn it to the "topic" type if you want to see it like here on wpForo Community. The setting is located in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Topics & Posts admin page:
