I wrapped my forum for iOS and submitted the app to Apple. It got rejected for the following reasons around safety issues. Is there any way to enable/implement these features in WPForo?
- A method for filtering objectionable content
- A mechanism for users to flag objectionable content
- A mechanism for users to block abusive users
Users can flag objectionable content, but is there a setting to enable filtering of objectionable content or a way for users to block other users? Is it an add-on perhaps?

gvectors has "Forums Censure PRO" to filter any content that may be objectionable

You can report objectionable content via wpForo to the administrators/mods already

I haven't yet checked whether this has been added to wpForo 2?

@chris @fawp It would be just like Twitter or Reddit. You can block a user. That is what Apple wants me to include in the forum. Once you blog a user you won't see any of their posts going forward. It's like an automatic filter, "Don't show any content/posts/topics from anyone that is blocked." That way, if a user keeps posting annoying things that don't violate the terms of service, a user can block the user to make their forum/discussion experience better. Does a feature like this exist? If not, when do you expect it?

Unfortunately, wpForo doesn't have that feature for now, but we will add it to our to-do list,

@chris Robert mentioned in the other thread that this feature was very resource-intensive for wpForo. You may want to double check if this is still the case with Version 2.
@chris Hi Chris, Do you have an ETA of when the feature for a user to block another user will be supported? I'd be happy to pay for it as an add-on. I've also reached out to GVectors twice now about building this for me and I still haven't heard back.

The feature is in the to-do list, I can't give an ETA as the feature is going to be in wpForo 2.0 version, so it will be available only after wpForo 2.0 stable release
@chris Is there a way for me to install 2.0 on my site and become a beta tester?

It's not recommended to install the v2 on a live site. Especially if you have ongoing issues, you should not do that. You can clone your website to some sub-direcotry or subdomain using Duplicator plugin, then deactivate the wpForo, delete it, upload the v2 and activate it back. So in this way you'll update wpForo on a test website and check it. But if you have some issues with current wpForo you'll most likely have the same issue on v2.
