I would like to re open the question of the missing on-site (live) notifications.
There was a topic where this demand was coldly received (!) then nobody ever answered.

When I asked again after six months since the last vague reply the topic was closed.
I hope it is not a problem asking for a 2018 forum functionality instead of 1998 email notifications?
So, assuming you won’t censure the topic again, would you be so kind to inform us about the perspectives of on-site notifications?

I would happily pay for real time notifications as an add-on.
It's a fairly fundamental aspect of a forum
