Since there haven't been any major features released in the recent updates, what is the next big surprise in WPforo?

Hi @adisaputro,

Here are some features that are planned to be added as SaaS, addons, or included in the free core. I cannot provide further details for each of these; this is just a high-level list:

  • Improved search
  • Improved member profile
  • Improved performance
  • Improved ranking system
  • Minimizing cache conflicts
  • Minimizing conflicts with other plugins
  • Better integration with wpDiscuz
  • Easier way to use usergroup and forum accesses
  • More tools to manage topics
  • Different AI integration
  • Integration with membership plugins
  • REST API
  • New Widgets
  • Antispam solutions
  • New themes
  • SaaS wpForo

It is a pity that there will be no uploading of images to the uploads folder. Without this, neither cloud storage plugins nor image optimization plugins work.

Looks amazing. I think the internet is changing rapidly nowadays. What happens on Twitter, Stackoverflow, Quora, and other social media platforms is very dynamic and continuously evolving with the introduction of many new features. Not to mention the massive development of AI everywhere. Therefore, I believe that as a software forum, wpforo should be able to respond quickly.

Will this include a "copy to Forum_xx function?

I'm afraid that new features and functions will not bring more traffic to any forum. TRAFFIC is the key, not features and SEO-Myths.

@adisaputro This comment is not for you, it is a general idea of mine. People spend time for SEO, new features, design and they fail. 90% or more of the new Forums fail after a while. No matter what plugin or platform they use. The only ones that survice are SUPPORT forums, like this one. Very "specialized" forums. Other kind of forums .... they need

TRAFFIC.

@dimalifragis The internet has changed rapidly, adapt or die. That's why Elon Musk created his own social media called X which will pay its content creators who have millions of views on their posts. This will encourage users to be more active in posting on Twitter because they will be 'paid', and it's how Elon Musk attracts a lot of traffic and engagement on platform X besides releasing many new features on his social media platform.

@adisaputro Well sure, but i hope you understand that you can't be or rival such a service as Twitter, Facebook etc etc and it is not a matter of features but of the money you spend.

@dimalifragis Of course, but I don't completely agree with you that the new feature won't bring traffic. The new feature will make it easier for users and forum admins to use and manage the forum.
