I've had a few users complain that when they edit their profile, they have to enter a new password. I have found that you have to enter your existing password in both boxes when editing your profile. That is confusing for users because they think we are forcing them to change their password every time they change their profile. I suspect this is a bug. Are there any fixes in the works or possibly a workaround?

Just checked it and works right for me.
@wendell I had the same problem on my site. I got around it because I had already purchased the "custom field editor add-on. I just edited the account page, and took "required" off the password field. Members could then change their profile without having to enter a password to do so and they could still change their password via the account page if they so required. Not an elegant solution but got me out of a fix. No idea why it started to do this it was OK before the update.
