When I write a reply to a particular topic and then move it to another forum, the old forum has inaccurate last poster information.
You can see it here for the Promotion Portal section ( https://adminloop.com/forum/ ). The last post info is for 2 days ago yet there is a new thread that was posted 2 hours ago.
Is there a way to refresh the last post info on the forum index? I tried using the various options available on the Dashboard page but that doesn't seem to fix anything.
Have you tried first click on [Update Forum Statistic] then click on [Delete all Caches] in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page?
Just did that again to make sure but still the same unfortunately 🙁

having the exact same problem even after 1.6.2 was released recently
only one of five forums is displaying the correct info for the latest post. one is displaying something in between the oldest and the newwest and the other three display the FIRST post rather than the last in that forums 🙁
(did all the caches deletion and update statistics stuff btw.)
edit: oh just one additional info - i am talking about the simplified layout and "recent posts info" on the first, the MAIN forum page, where it shows user AND the topic title. this is the place where the info is wrong. it is correct for the posts inside the forums though!
ooooh....i am sorry, i guess i figured out my missunderstanding of WHAT it actually shows there.
so it is actually displaying the latest _reply_ to a topic, not considering topic "posts" as posts at all.
i get it - still i would love to have an option to do exactly that - consider the first post as a post for that info too, so the user who visits the main page will see the latest topic name there, no matter whether it has answers or not. would you guys consider such an option please? 🙂

Thanks! That is exactly the problem I am experiencing. But as I am new to using wpforo, I thought it’s intended to only show topics with replies as “latest” - so it’s not (and it makes sense it’s not, as it is very confusing).
