The image area is 170 pix high but no matter what size (even tiny) the image will not fit in the area without being cropped. I've deleted images from the media library, renamed, deleted the cache but cannot get it to work. I am using png because I want transparency. Help

200 x 1200 works perfectly. Why not add that to the page? and save time and frustration? As I wrote in the OP, the little image was a desperate attempt to get 'something' to fit. 😉
