After submitting the lost password form at https://rplstoday.com/community/?wpforo=lostpassword users are shown a 502 error. I have chatted with my host (WP Engine) who did some troubleshooting and said it is most likely a problem with the wpForo plugin, or a conflict with another plugin. I then disabled all plugins except wpForo and I still got the 502 error. This was not happening prior to the latest update to wpForo.
Any ideas on what might be causing this?
Most likely you do not have mail configured. But help in this I can not. I have everything working "password recovery". Try the plugin "CB Change Mail Sender" - it helped me.
Hosting support service will not do extra work. I have a friend who is an expert who quickly solves server problems ...
Also, try to disable Cloudflare.
Same for me as well..
Then I retry and it works again, but it happens often.
As a note, I do not have recaptcha activated on recover password and I´m actually using Wp-own recover password since <br> in mail is not included in latest version
