Hi there. Just bought the plugin today and really impressed!

I have one small question - I have two categories of users on my site, "teachers" and "students"

Is there a way to have a custom badge showing in their profile to make it clear who is who?

I'm sorry @Robert to use you as an example, but the badge I am looking for is in place of (or in addition to) the "admin" badge.

Hi @columbus188,

You should enable the checkboxes for the "teachers" and "students" Usergroups in the "Display Usergroup under Post Author Avatar" section. It can be found in the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members Tab.

Hi @Sofy

Thanks for the reply. The problem is after adding a new "User Role" for teachers, I am unable to sync because I get the warning message:

One User Role cannot be synched with multiple Usergroups.

The issue seems to be because when someone registers on my site, they are given the "Subscriber" usergroup.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks

@columbus188,

Please let make it clear. The "User Role" and the "Usergroup" is different things. The User Role is a WordPress user category, the Usergroup is a wpForo user category. So, what Usergroup have your forum users? If they don't have "teachers" and "students" Usergroups then it's not possible to show the badges.

If the users have "teachers" and "students" Usergroups then you should enable the displaying of those two usergroups in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members Tab:
