I'm sorry, but you cant add photo instead of forum title. 

In “Forum Icon” section you can change default forum icons using font-awesome icon library. You can find all the icons here.

As far as I understand you're trying to add the image tag instead of the forum title, right? If so, you can't add any HTML tags in the Forum title field.

@sofy I don't want to hijack this thread; however, this seems like the perfect place to ask my question. Since the title field does not allow HTML, and the dev team chose not to allow the use of an image or logo (which, for the life of me, I cannot understand why), is there somewhere to edit the code to place an image there? I have not looked into the code yet as I thought it might be easier to ask here first.
