Currently anyone can post.

In all the settings in the backend I have aligned the forum access to no access using the usergroup, I've tried creating a custom user group as well and which ever possibility I use, the front end forum ignores this.

I don't want non-registered people to create topics and create posts.

I have disabled all cache and cleared it multiple times. I've tried different browsers and incognito etc.

Hi @dann,

Have you set the Access in Both Category and Forum Permissions?

@dann,

You have messed up with wpForo usergroups, I have done a clean installation, synchronized wpForo Usergroups with the right WordPress User Roles, Removed Duplicated wpForo Menu.

wpForo Usergroups were messed up.

Guest Usergroup were synchronized with Subscriber, but Guest Usergroup Cannot be synched with any User Role, and other Usergroups were messed up as well.

Now you can set up wpForo.

@chris Hi Chris,

Thank you, this all works, but as a heads up, by default the guest pointing to a subscriber role. I did have to restart the server after installing the plugin as it crashed, so I wonder if something happened.

The moderations you could see were only after I tried to make changes to fix it.
