I read five years ago WpFORO team was working on a way to share posts and threads with Facebook groups. My biggest challenge is to get the 700+ members migrated to the forum. FB spoils people and it is hard to get people to migrate and using FB alone you take the chance that one push of a FB employee finger destroys hundreds of hours of research.
So the best way to secure the data is to keep it on a forum, away from FBs control but to mirror daily posts between the two venues.
Has there ever been a plugin developed to share posts/topics with FB?
When a post/topic is created it shows on the FB group I own (both are private which has been the challenge) and visa versa?
I found something on wordpress but it only works on public forums/ groups not private.

You can use only the Facebook sharing option. You can find and configure it in the Dashboard> Forums > Settings > API's admin page.
@sofy Thank you got the share working! It's only one way though. Replies on the FB group do not show on the forum. 1/2 way there.
We're really sorry, but the wpForo doesn't have the Facebook content cross-posting feature.
