The "FORUM SEO" field that appears on each Forum's settings is not working. The meta description is not picked up and whatever text you put there does not show anywhere.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Admin > Forums > Forums > edit the settings of any Forum.

2. Add any text to the Forum SEO > Meta Description textarea

3. Open the forum. Tag is not present.

If you set a Forum Description, it overrides the individual Forum SEO field (that never shows anyway).

1. Admin > Forums > Settings > Forum Description , set to "aaaa".

2. Admin > Forums > Forums > edit the settings of any forum, Forum SEO > Meta Description, set to "bbbb".

Expected behavior: show "bbbb". Bug: showing "aaaa".

Thank you for your reply, but that post is from April, and we're in June. I believe this is a different issue as I can't imagine you going 2 months without fixing a bug.

Hi @info100123,

As Robert already mentioned in the support topic this is wpForo current 1.6.1 version bug. We've not updated the plugin yet. The solution is provided as well. Just follow the steps to get it resolved.

We're preparing the new wpForo version (no ETA), the issue will be fixed in the upcoming version.
