Hi. We have had a few forum members asking if they can edit their own posts once they have posted them. IS this an option?

Please navigate to the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Topics & Posts admin page and check the following options:

. Allow Edit Own Topic for

. Allow Edit Own Post for

I have a question though about a line in your help pages: "You should not allow regular forum users to be able edit/delete their topics and posts whenever they want.". Can I ask why this is and why its recommended?

You can remove the time limit of editing your own topics and posts by setting according option values 0 in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Topics & Posts admin page:
