Hi.

In Dashboard > wpForo > Settings > Email Settings > New User Registration Email for User, I have set Overwrite WordPress New User Registration Email for Users to Yes.

But any new user doesn't receive the email message body template I have prepared. Instead it receives the default wordpress email which redirects to default WP create password screen. More over after creating the password, user is redirected to site's Home screen instead of Forum Index page.

Is there any isolution?

I am using wpForo 2.0.6 Classic Theme on WP 6.0.1

Thanks.

@tritongr,

1. Temporary disable other plugins and test it again

2. Check that options again, make sure they are saved

3. Go to wpForo > Settings > Login & Registration admin page and make sure the following options are enabled:

  • Replace Registration Page URL to Forum Registration Page URL
  • Replace Login Page URL to Forum Login Page URL
  • Replace Reset Password Page URL to Forum Reset Password Page URL

@robert Hi, I've done everything you mentioned above but it's still not overwriting WordPress email. It's still using the WordPress password reset form

Hi Zellerbray

I also encountered the same problem as you, do you have a solution?

If it doesn't overwrite the email, then you should disable other plugins and check it again. Some plugins uses higher priority codes and affect the overwriting. You should check other plugin conflict or install a WordPress plugin to manage emails. Check this out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-templates/
