PS. I am using your excellent plugin on another website and it´s all displayed perfectly like in the attached screenshot. I´d like the menu bar to be displayed like on this website and am comparing settings - without success so far. Are you able to indicate where I have to look please?

@janjan,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features tab, make sure the Show Top/Menu Bar option is enabled. More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/wpforo-settings/features/

I'd also suggest you read this doc: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/getting-started/forum-menu/

Thank you! The only way for now to access the forum (once a user has accessed their profile), is through a hyperlink at the very bottom of the page (Supervision Group page - videos, resources and forum), please see screenshot. This is done because the content should only be viewable to a certain group of people who have undergone training courses with us. So we made the site password protected.

Perhaps this is the issue?

@janjan,

Could you please switch to some default theme and check again?

This website has to look as it does and function at all times, what happens if I switch theme?

@janjan,

one of the active plugins or the theme caused the issue. I cannot debug the problem maker thus I've asked you to switch the theme.

There is a blank area at the bottom of the page. and the scroll bar can not reach to the top of the page. I've recorded the video, please watch it: https://www.screencast.com/t/wjlxq0eDRRZg

If the issue doesn't have a relation with the active theme, please deactivate the plugins one by one to find a problem maker.

@janjan,

This is probably your theme issue. The forum menu exist but the theme wrap it in a small frame and doesn't display it. Please contact to this theme developers and ask them help you to fix the problem:
