Hi there, these images are bit large and are ending up rezied the wrong way is there a way to change the size of the rendered icon?

It seems you don't use wpForo Sidebar, you use Page sidebar. All may happens in theme sidebars, so we recommend to use Full width page template with wpForo Sidebar.
