also had this issue before. solved it by disabling the Publicize module in Jetpack.
@hatm2206 yes. it solved the issue for me. but if you don't use jetpack then not sure what's causing the issue.
The forum page SEO tags are affected by 3rd party input. I think this is the WordPress theme, it adds OG meta tags to the page. In any case, start by disabling Yoast and check the source of the forum page by pressing Ctrl+U. This section must be removed to fix the problem:
If disabling the yoast doesn't help, then this is a theme or other plugins impact.
BTW, Yoast SEO works fine with wpForo.
